A long time favorite casting slip, Moroccan Sand is now available in a similar Cone 5 pugged body. Light beige fired in oxidation, the body is quite vitreous, ideal for throwing functional ware, and is complimented by a full palette of Laguna lead free glazes.

What is flashing? Flashing is when you place a glaze containing a chrome oxide near your piece in the kiln. During a firing, any additional chrome oxide in other glazes will cause incredible blushing effects fading between delicate light pinks to rich dark reds.
