Please note that according to IMCO… since 2018 stoneware 1C does not vitrify at cones 5/6 anymore. They have formulated a substitute that vitrifies at cone 5/6 called Golden Brown and Delicious. Similar but fires a bit darker. Stoneware 1-C needs a cone 8 to vitrify.
