Brent Model EX Pottery Wheel
The Brent Model EX is built for potters who regularly work at a scale where ordinary pottery wheels are no longer enough. With a 1-1/2 HP permanent-magnet DC motor and a 450-pound continuous clay capacity, the EX is Brent's most powerful conventional pottery wheel and is designed for large forms, production studios, professional ceramic artists, and demanding educational environments.
The 14-inch cast aluminum wheel head provides a generous throwing surface, while electronic speed control delivers smooth operation from 0 to 240 RPM. Reversible rotation allows the wheel to run clockwise or counter-clockwise, giving potters flexibility in their throwing setup.
The EX combines its powerful motor with an all-steel table, powder-coated legs, automatic belt tensioning, and Brent's Classic Controller. The controller is designed to maintain torque across the speed range and includes electronic noise filtering for quieter operation.
If your work routinely involves very large forms or heavy clay loads, the Model EX provides a substantial increase in capacity over the Brent CXC, C, and B models.
